What is Believer’s Baptism?

Believer’s Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith in Christ. Simply put, it’s going public for Jesus, declaring to others that you are a follower of Christ.

What does Baptism Symbolize?

Baptism is a beautiful picture of what Jesus has done for you. You will be fully immersed in the water symbolizing burial with Christ and then raised out of the water, symbolically resurrected and raised to new life in Christ. Baptism also illustrates the spiritual cleansing we experience by faith in Christ; just as water cleanses the body, so the Holy Spirit cleanses our hearts when we trust Christ.

Who should be Baptized?

Those who have made a personal decision to trust in Jesus Christ and follow Him their whole life long should be baptized. Baptism doesn’t save us. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ, but Baptism is a sacred and meaningful next step for every follower of Christ.
