I’m an unlikely person to be a pastor, but God works in mysterious ways. What gets me up in the morning is the chance to partner with God in his transformation of people into their glorious design. My wife, Diane, and I raised two wonderful girls. I’m an avid cyclist, average musician, coffee snob, book addict, DIY fan, and Marine Corps veteran. Let’s chat!

Jeannette is a Maryland native, a Jesus feminist, and a breast cancer conqueror. She graduated from Regent University, earning degrees in Organizational Leadership (B.S. and M.A.) and Practical Theology (M.A.). She enjoys pumpkin spice lattes, walks with her two golden retrievers, and spending time with her two granddaughters.

With 18 years of experience in creating contextual worship spaces, I am passionate about creating multicultural worship spaces that embody hospitality and mutuality. The journey of following Jesus is filled with wild turns and twists and I love walking with people as they follow Jesus.

With a professional history in Property Management, Higher Education Administration, and Student Ministry, my journey has been very rich if not totally unexpected. When not crafting comms, my attention is usually on true crime, reading, cross-stitching (IKR?) or obsessing over the Steelers, Hoyas or PGA tourneys. My husband, son and dog have endless patience.

I am a second generation Korean American with a French last name from my step-father. On my mother’s side, I carry with me five generations of enduring faith, passed down from Korean missionaries. I am an evangelist that longs to see the Gospel being proclaimed to the next generation through the Gospel, the power of the Holy Spirit, and justice.

Bios are FUN and I like FUN! Born in Jacksonville, FL. I am a 10yr Navy Veteran. Love creating art & fly fishing. Married to my wife Trena of 32 years. The A-Train (our family); Bobby, his wife Erin and their little girl Lily. TJ and his wife Sami, Blake, Tristan, Rosalina (AKA Grandma) & our 4 fur family members; Bella, Diana, Oscar & Frankie.

I am proof that God has a sense of humor. I have degrees in environmental science, experience in corporate brand reputation, government relations, and tv news, yet I’m drawn to ministry and serving families well. I have two fierce and funny daughters, 7 pairs of running shoes and a sourdough recipe that’s worth its weight in gold.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from the University of Maryland. After working in the finance and accounting field for over 35 years, I am now pursuing a new career as a wellness coach. I love connecting with people in a deep and meaningful way. Becoming a certified Fitness Teacher Gospel Preacher, made my interest in fitness and nutrition grow. And my passion for wholeness and helping others improve their well-being and reach their optimal life, became my new mission!

I was born to a loving family in Wheaton, Maryland – Go Knights! I was blessed to be a stay-at-home dad. Helping Erin and Casey become caring and joyful adults was such a gift. I thank God for the blessing and my amazing wife Carolyn. Our Lord came in the flesh, sacrificed himself for us, and wants a personal relationship with me.

I started attending Seneca Creek over 18 years ago and began a personal relationship with Christ two years later. Since then, I’ve served on mission trips in Peru, Nigeria, Dominican Republic and El Salvador. My passion is helping people who are in jail or just released from a correctional institution. It is my joy to lead others to Christ and find a new life in Him. have been married to my lovely wife, Nancy for 36 years, and we have one grown son, Pierre.

I was born in El Salvador and grew up in Mexico. I have five kids, three boys and one girl. I have five grandsons. I’ve been in Maryland for eight years. I love to cook, my job, and traveling. I also enjoy all types of music. My favorite music is cumbia.

Born in Cameroon, and having lived all over, I speak French, Spanish, Douala and English. My journey in Christ began with my children being interested in Powerhouse. Helping and serving others bring me tremendous joy so I hold Colossians 3:23 close to heart.

I’m a lover of all beautiful things – animals, nature, and art. You might find me exploring a new trail, whipping up some Italian food, or chasing a good sunset! I believe that every child is special, important, and so very loved by our Creator. My mission is to lead children with positivity, hope, creativity, and the guidance of God’s love and to let them know that with Him, all things are possible!

I use what I’ve learned in international ministry, non-profit work, and Jesus’ life to serve our neighbors. My life’s passion is trying to live like Jesus in community. I love activities without time constraints, documentaries, culture/languages, community development, and everything active or outside.

I was born in El Salvador and raised in California. I have two brothers in my family and my mom, who’s my best friend. I have one son and I’m a proud grandma to Matteo. My interests include finding new places and singing karaoke. My special talent is dancing to cumbia and salsa. My life’s passion is to help people and see them happy.

One of my greatest passions is to love God and help my community. I believe in the God force that lives inside all of us. I feel proud to be part of this great team. I’m a very dedicated father and husband and love to spend time with my loved ones. In my free time I like to hike, run, and enjoy nature.

I am a bookkeeper phasing into retirement. I enjoy working with spreadsheets and numbers when I’m not busy with family, human and canine. SCCC has been my church home for 20+ years. My faith and trust in God carries me through the good and bad that life brings each of us. My motto is “God’s got this.” He always does and He always will.

Born in Peru, but I call the beautiful and diverse streets of Washington, DC home. Although bilingual in Spanish & English, my love for people has led me to study Mandarin to break down more barriers and form lasting bonds. My desire is to mirror the heart of God in all that I do: extending love and the gospel to all people, cultures, and nation.

I work for Redfin as a Senior Agent. I get to help people daily in a way that really matters. I am a servant leader at my company and in the community because we are all in this together. I am a big Hallmark movies fan. At SCCC besides Leadership Council, I serve on the amazing Tech Team (Come join us!). I also enjoy cooking, pickleball, being outside and playing the ukulele.

Steve Longley is a long-time covenant partner of Seneca Creek and is a 50-year follower of Jesus Christ. He and his wife Lynn enjoy serving in various capacities at Seneca Creek. In his free time, Steve keeps up with his four grown kids, the family dog and his guitar music. Steve received his college degrees from the University of North Texas and George Washington University and is a nonprofit development consultant with Bethesda-based Capacity Partners.

Joe is currently the Director of IT Strategy with a large Defense Contractor focused on providing advanced capabilities to the United States Air Force and Space Force. He and his wife Bonnie have been attending SCCC since 2001. Joe has served in multiple volunteer leadership roles at SCCC, including a Small Group Leader and our High School ministry. He currently serves on the SCCC Worship Team as a Worship Leader and has been on the SCCC Leadership Council for 8 years.

For nearly a decade now, I’ve been called to serve as a conflict management and dispute resolution leader with the federal government. My life is dedicated to building those skills in others (and myself!) and it has been such a privilege to watch God play this out in real lives. If you know me, you also know that some of my most powerful lessons in collaborative problem solving come from working with my horses and dogs!

I’m a husband, father, son, and coach. DMV-born and raised, I love all DC’s sports teams even when it hurts (#HTTC). I’m passionate about public health and have been a program manager at the National Institutes of Health for 15+ years. As a member of SCCC since 2008, I have served in children and student ministries and on the Leadership Council.
