Who We Are
Our children’s ministry, PowerHouse, is uniquely designed with your kid in mind! We create safe spaces for infants through fourth graders to learn who God is and how they fit into His big story.
Our driving passion is to transform how emerging generations see God, by equipping children to understand their value and inspiring them to change the world by:
- KNOWING God’s truth and how they fit into His Big Story
- GROWING in their relationship with Jesus
- SHOWING His love by serving others with their gifts and talents
Our Mission
As a ministry of Seneca Creek Community Church, PowerHouse is a partnership with parents of children from newborns – fourth grade. Our hybrid ministry serves and includes all families in our immediate community and around the globe through a wide array of in-person and virtual, at-home opportunities with a key focus on discipleship, outreach and raising a generation of service-minded boys and girls.
PowerHouse Live
PowerHouse offers Sunday morning gatherings at the 10AM and 11:30AM services on the first floor of Seneca Creek Community Church, just look for the brightly painted walls.

PowerHouse Online
Each week we’ll share an online version of our worship gatherings for preschoolers and elementary students. Use the lesson guides below for an easy at-home craft or activity and discussion about the video lesson.
Special Events
Every Fifth Sunday, we invite special guests to lead high-energy and/or multicultural worship experiences. Throughout the year, we plan other special celebrations including the Super Bowl Blitz, Easter Scavenger Hunt, Summer Kick-Off, and Back to School Blast.We hold two Baptism and Child Dedication events each year. Child Dedication and Child Baptism courses are available one-on-one and at your convenience.
Our Team
All volunteers in our children’s ministry must pass regular background checks and child safety trainings.
From middle school helpers to grandparents, we have a wonderful team that is diverse in age, ethnicity, and giftings who bring incredible energy and talents to our Sunday gatherings and virtual ministry.
