During the last week of his life on earth, Jesus made a triumphal entry into Jerusalem for the last time to celebrate the Passover. For three years He had taught the people, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and demonstrating with signs and wonders that He was the Messiah, the Anointed One, promised by the Old Testament prophets. He was now ready to complete his work on earth. Now He would suffer, die, then triumph over death by rising the third day. Was this the end? What would happen to his followers?
