The Gaithersburg Cares Hub is a community resource and service consolidation center serving families that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. With support from a grant from Montgomery County and generous donations from various community partners the Gaithersburg Cares Hub is operating full time at Seneca Creek Community Church to meet the critical needs of families hit hard by the health and economic crisis of the pandemic.
Community: We care about ALL people in our community.
Assistance: We provide food, health and hygiene items, and infant/toddler supplies to those in need.
Resources: We connect people to other critical resources such as rent and utility assistance, healthcare, ESOL and job assistance classes.
Engagement: We collaborate with other organizations and community leaders in our area to ensure efficiency and efficacy.
Service: We rely on community volunteers to get the job done and to grow connections.

For community groups, houses of worship, or any group that cares about helping feed hungry neighborhoods. We partner with you to provide food, space to bag up items, coordination with a housing/rental office, and some logistical support when possible. You provide the volunteers and lead them to get the food delivered directly to Gaithersburg neighborhoods. Do you have a particular housing complex or neighborhood you want to serve? We can do that too!
