What is Celebrate Recovery?
At Celebrate Recovery we celebrate God’s healing power in our lives. It is a safe place to take off our masks and be free to work on our hurts, habits, and hang-ups with others who share similar struggles. By working the eight recovery principles and the Christ-centered twelve steps, we open ourselves up to allow God to heal us from the inside out.
Is Celebrate Recovery Right For Me?
Celebrate Recovery offers anyone and everyone a safe place to take off our masks and be real about what is going on in our lives.
And with God’s help and nudging we have the courage to ask ourselves:
- Are there things in my life that I do that hurt others?
- Is there something I wish I could live without?
- Do I have a painful habit or hang-up from which I need to be freed?
How Will Celebrate Recovery Help Me?
The 12 Steps with accompanying Scriptures and the 8 Principles based on the Beatitudes offer participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship; bringing hope, freedom, sobriety, healing, and the opportunity to give back one day at a time through our one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

Make a difference in the life of someone who is hurting
Stephen Ministry is a long term confidential caring ministry we have here at Seneca Creek. Individuals are specially trained to provide one-to-one Christian care to people who are experiencing a life challenge or crisis for the duration of the crisis or challenge. Stephen Ministers walk alongside a care receiver for as long as he or she needs care, bringing Jesus’ unconditional love and acceptance to the person.
Mercy Care Ministry
Compassion, kindness, encouragement
Our Mercy Care Volunteers are trained to partner with the pastors and staff of Seneca Creek to come alongside individuals and families to provide care, support, encouragement, and a caring community during and after an immediate physical, health, emotional, or spiritual crisis. They respond through a variety of meaningful and supportive means in times of distress, need, etc. by making phone calls, sending cards, making hospital visits at the request of the pastors, making follow-up thinking of you visits, praying with and for people during difficult times, visiting homebound and elderly, etc.
